Graduate Admission Requirements
Application for all advanced level English programs is made through the Graduate School. There are new requirements for admission to the M.A. in English that appear below. In addition to the general requirements for admission to the graduate school, for admission to the M.S. program in TESOL, 3 s.h. of study of a second language is required. Students lacking this background may be admitted provisionally, but will be required to complete the 3 s.h. of second language study before graduation from the program. Non-native speakers of English may use English to satisfy this requirement. Prospective students are invited to obtain further information regarding graduate study in the discipline from the academic department.
