Guy Debord and the Situationists

The revolution--hélas--will
be televised. Guy Debord was an acute thinker and social critic as well as impossibly
French. He unfortunately spent more time deciding who to kick out of his tree
fort than actually writing, but what he wrote still retains the ability to capture
the imagination. It is no accident that phrases taken from the Situationists
became graffiti slogans during the 1968 uprising in Paris.
